[ music | Clay Aiken- Every Time You Go Away]
Clay's favorite show is The Office!!! I don't really know why that makes me so happy, but it just does. Maybe because it means he's even cooler than I thought. ;P
So, ATDW is AMAZING. I'm so glad I kept myself a song virgin (for the most part), because it was so cool to hear the songs for the first time Monday night. (Oh yeah, I drove Morgan to the Monday OKC party and we had the best time, she's totally one of my new best friends. Lmao, and that was the first time we'd even met in real life, I love when that happens with Claymates.) Waiting for the CD at Wherehouse Music was so much fun, the weird guy who works there took great pictures of all of us, but Wherehouse still has all of them... I don't really know why. Maybe for store promotion or something.
Anyway, I think I could listen to Every Time You Go Away forever. I've always loved that song, but his version is SO. HOT. I was nervous about all the covers and slower songs (especially since I hadn't heard any clips), but right now I'm loving every song except Broken Wings because the girl reading the poem just bugs me. A LOT. My very favorites are probably Every Time You Go Away, Lonely No More, Right Here Waiting, Everything I Have, and Sorry Seems To Be the Hardest Word. <3 Oh, and Here You Come Again is hot! And Everything I Do, because it puts me in a... celtic-y mood. Whatever, I love basically all the songs. I haven't gotten the 2 bonus songs yet, so I hope those are good. I liked MOAM a lot, but I love this album so much more.
I like the GMA and People interviews a lot, I'm so glad he's taking something for his panic attacks, and I wish people would just drop the gay thing. It doesn't matter if he is but he's said he isn't, and that's good enough for me, anyway. But the bottom line is, in my opinion he has the greatest voice I've ever heard, as well as the greatest morals. I'll stick by that forever.
Season premiere of The Office tonight!!! Seriously, all I watch now is Clay-related stuff, The Office, and reality tv (The Amazing Race, Dancing With the Stars, and Survivor). I've been meaning to catch Studio 60 too, because I love Matthew Perry. That's helped make this an even better week, not only is there all the Clay stuff I've been catching interviews by Steve Carell, Matthew Perry, and Rainn Wilson everywhere. *is quite happy this week*
