Garden Update
It's in! The 2011 Garden has been planted! We hit the nursery yesterday morning and bought all of our seedlings. It's pretty much a repeat of last year with a few minor tweaks. Here's what we planted:
6 tomatoes (6 different varieties), 4 jalapenos, 4 green chiles, 4 green bell, 4 yellow hots, 8 cucumbers (4 Straight-8s and 4 pickling), and 4 zucchini.
They didn't have poblano peppers so we went with the yellow hots. I was all set to plant green beans, but I didn't want to overcrowd. If something doesn't make it, we can use beans to fill in. Now that I have pickling down I decided to go nuts with the cucumbers. We shall see how many jars I end up with!
