There's these sections of the ocean where all the worlds plastic ends up on account of the way tides work and stuff, called an Oceanic Gyre. So there's just a giant mess of rubbish floating around the ocean that's twice the size of Britan.
Here's a bird with a stomach full of rubbish it ate & couldn't digest.
Here's a turtle that got a ring stuck around it's shell when it was a baby and was forced to grow around it.
