Pre-flight check
instead of ranting about how cool my asia trip is going to be, I'm just going to paste my current checklist (which is more random notes) for the 3 weeks before I fly out
fight to phuket is booked and paid for, so is the accom - for the first 3 weeks I'll be in thailand with olie and his family/friends, so thankfully I wont have to plan too much for that part
after that... ill be on my own through to laos (couch surfing), then to malaysia (I have a contact there, yet to decide if i want to stick around), then indonesia to meet up with a friend who moved there recently
then back home - air asia flights are still pretty cheap near departure time, so I may stick around for a bit longer in certain locations; yet to decide if i should go to vietnam aswell; best to not have absolutely everything planned
the main thing is, this part of asia is cheap :O with ollie and the crew I will be staying in luxury hotels (not my idea but best to stick with the crew) to give some idea of how cheap it is going to be.
