So , with our MIA leader losing Boston Comic Con to the New Hampshire Ghostbusters Carpetbaggers, the New England Ghostbusters have ceased to exist. The website says we're closed for business, and so far the only people in the franchise who know it are the ones who actually give a shit.
It's a good thing I'm becoming a practicing Stoic, because otherwise this news would've hit me HARD. The NEGBs were an awesome thing when we were running smooth. We did good things. Last year's BCC was a huge success for us, and to lose it to those turf-swipers from up north sits in my belly like rotten meat. The scene of our greatest victory, and we had an open invite to come back... EXCEPT FOR A CERTAIN IDIOT WHO CAN'T BE BOTHERED ACTUALLY DOING ANY OF THE WORK IN THE FRANCHISE. Geez, it's not like he FOUNDED the franchise or anything.
One would think a former Army dude would know a thing or two about a squad leader following up on shit.
I'm not ruling out a new Mass-based franchise, but I certainly AM ruling out the possibility of that lazy bastard getting a leadership role.
And people wonder why I have trust issues. Once I start relying on someone else, they betray me.
