Recent ponderings

I struggle to define happiness when the level of happiness solely depends on the pre-event level of unhappiness. If you are happy all the time, you take it for granted, you forget why people are sad, you tend to forgot what it's like to feel sad - and when the low happens, it hits very hard.

This is why people who are happy all the time avoid anything that is in the slightest bit unhappy that will cut off their long-running happy session. On occasions they will pretend that they are happy, try and convince the brain, because reality is too difficult to cope with.

so, we are all slowly decaying in mind and body. We can master a skill with repeatative tasks for a lifetime but when you come to the realization that the one skill defines who you are - without experiencing new things and seeing new places, without meeting new people, without having varied influences that cannot be defined as a single entity; there is no sense of self, you are simply the sole act that you perform.
