I don't got nothing to do

Alright, so clearly it has been forever and his mother since I've blogged, but I don't care. I've been ass-busy this past month what with trying not to be destroyed from the inside from all the schoolwork and all. But all that's finally behind me, and all I have to look forward to now is five months in hell until I can go back to school to once ( Read more... )

Aww, you're all nifty and gifted! And EMO?! Sweet lord, save the black kids. XD

Self-contemplation is really healthy though, especially when you have the time since school is finished for a while. I always wonder if I have any creativity anymore; when I was a kid, it was like Dr. Seuss' "All the thinks you can think", and now it's just "God, I dunno... I'll write a little of nothing in particular?" Sapped inspiration and passion, baby. That's what the 4 months are for: to try and nurture a personality back into our beings before we get it all sucked out again.

lol, sapped... it's like we're maple trees or something. And when the school saps it out of us, what are they making... knowledge syrup or something.

F*ck I'm weird. XD

Which is precisely why I love you. Lol, knowledge sap.

The Lord will not save the black kids. If my calling is to be emo, which clearly it is, then there's no saving anyone.

And I know what you're talking about with the creativity as a child thing! Maybe it's a social thing, though - children are encourage to use their imaginations on a regular basis but as we age, maybe that's education-ed out of us? Hmm...something to think about.

I do think it may be socialised out of us. Cuz how often to do you hear an adult so something kinda out there or wacky and then here someone else say, "Oh grow up!" or whatever? You know?

Hm. I never even THOUGHT about that, but it's true - if someone's not being realistic, we tell them to grow up! And that's why you're the soc. major, and I'm the lowly psychology major, hahah.
