I loved that Oprah-esque ending there. Or was it more like Jerry Springer? Dah well, I loved it nonetheless! =) Good words, though. "Love should be the joining of two wholes, not two halves." I agree COMPLETELY. Love is a powerful thing, but so many things can come between two people who love each other - lack of trust, insecurities, dishonesty...which pretty much blows.
But hey, I'm waiting for the complementary dude too, so no biggie. I think we should just all keep our standards high, because hell, we deserve a lot. I just find that a lot of girls are not really caring anymore and are lowering their standards because of the fact that it is so hard to find a guy that does suit you out there. I'm not doubting at all that there are awesome guys out there, because I know there are, but it's just a matter of how you click with the person. I've finally learned that! haha [ Better late than never! ]
I'm sorta scared too, because I think that there is this one guy...but with all my previous experiences, I kind of don't wanna ruin it. Dah well. We'll see what happens with him. :P
Yeah, I think "clicking" is important in relationships. I also think once you're in one, the first sign of trouble shouldn't be the time to re-think a relationship. I think the couple should try to see if it can work first, and then if all their venues are exhausted, ok, then maybe it's time to break up. Maybe if he's gay, too. Haha
But I agree with you again: we should never lower our standards, ever. Maybe that way it'll promote growth in the relationship together, so that everyone's happy, instead of a stagnant, emotionally and mentally unchallenging relationship that can only end one way anyways.
Ooh, a guy! Man, I love how you only have one crush at a time. I have like, a million right now. Kind of problematic, but hey. What can ya do?
