How to play an organ without the pedals

As I sat down the chair, I tried my hands on the keys, thought: "oh, that sounded great!" . Tried tinkering with the options, oh, I never knew it was that complicated. COOL.. So I opened a music sheet, gaah.. I've never been a fan of F-clefs (for piano) and my left hand.. it never synchronized with my right hand! Suddenly, memories of my old organ instructor chanting, "pedal, pedal, chord, chord" started to linger on my mind. Hey.. waitt.. great, after cleaning off years of accumulated dust from the organ, the pedals won't work. So much for revisiting an old "hobby".. "chord, chord, chord, chord"

Now I have to get back to my thesis proposal. sigh. why is work haunting me??! keep thinking of possible bugs with my code.. >.
