MY THEORY why the Killjoys are ALIVE.
Ok, Killjoys!
Here is my theory on SING / NANANA:
I thought about it for a looong while now and I think, it is highly possible....
THEORY:
- SING happened previously to NANANA. -
And here are my reasons to think so:
# In the beginning, the motto "The aftermath is SECONDARY" is shown, which gets a totally NEW meaning if we assume that they want to tell us: "THE FOLLOWING IS what happened before" ....
# Another highly suspicious thing is: The Killjoys seem to NEED a pic of the girl (Grace) in their car to find her ...might be because they didn't KNOW her before!
# Another STRONG question (which I asked myself since the beginning of NANANA) is:
IN SING, there is NO BLOOD on Gerards neck in the beginning, BUT: It appears in NANANA and it appears on his neck exactly where KORSE SHOT HIM! - MEANS: He wasn't shot dead - SCAREcrow could mean that they only SCARE the Killjoys, BUT not shoot them dead, but wanting to TURN them into BL/ind - citizens or sth. similar!!!
(I once even asked Gerard about the blood, but received no answer;)
# SING and NANANA equally do not tell us HOW the Killjoys escape, BUT they WILL - hence: The showdown in the end of NANANA in the desert!!! - REMEMBER: Gerards nervous look, when facing Korse and guess how frightened they ALL are because of the previous experience in SING... ?
# So, they escaped into the desert with the girl, but KORSE and SCARECROW followed them... (they wanted the girl back because the Killjoys 'stole' her previously!)
# Rays eyepatch: In SING it is there, but not in NANANA - could mean: It healed...which means: There lies a longer time between firstly freeing Grace and when Korse tries to get her back... / til the Killjoys are found by Korse ...?!??
# The lyrics of SING fit too: "You've got to be what tomorrow (NANANA) needs ..."
# GRACE: She seems to laugh at the Lady - which means, she could be medicated and not even KNOWING what's really going on in SING... ?!?!???
# Another strong hint: KORSE isn't even ACTIVATED (by the jap.-Lady) yet in the beginning of SING... She presses the button and Korse as an Android comes to life to defend BL/ind headquarters,... BUT:
# They didn't expect the Killjoys to come: WHICH MEANS: IT was the FIRST ATTEMPT of the Killjoys to find a girl, they NEVER even KNEW / ore BARELY before!!! - The Draculoids in the beginning of SING are totally unaware that the Killjoys come: The are reading a fuckin' NEWSPAPER and are shocked as they see their car!!! - There are NO other hints of cars there...everybody in the city is obedient...safety is GUARANTEED....
# And A STRONG hint is that they press the EMERGENCY BUTTON AFTER they are already overrun by Party Poisons DANGERCAR....(!)
# SCARECROW is there to SCARE us (as the other Killjoys!) and to make US believe the Killjoys are dead.... TO MAKE US LOOSE HOPE!!! - cause who is afraid, can't fight anymore!!!!
# The girl seems to be that important, in one scene, the jap.-Lady seems to want to kill her with a sword,...perhaps because she didn'T want the Killjoys to get her... ?!??! - Maybe the Killjoys safe each other / safe IMPORTANT members of theirs ?! - But this was kinda suicidal, to try to break into BL/ind, so... maybe the girl kinda stands for our (the Killjoys) inner child or sth. like this ... ?!?!?
Of course this are just random theories...everything could turn out to be completely different, but I thought I'd give it a shot and that I'd like to share my ideas ;)
Because after all this would mean:
