Happy New Year!
OK, so it's a little late ... I had sooooo planned on being a part of the festivities at the annual gathering, but by about 5 pm my body said "YOU WILL SLEEP NOW AND SLEEP LIKE THE DEAD FOR HOURS TO COME!!!" and I did. I woke up at about 10 til midnight, kissed my hubby, ate some speghetti and was back in bed asleep by 1 am. Didn't wake up until almost 9 the next day. So, to all those I missed - sorry, consider yourselves hugged, kissed, goosed, or what ever from me in honor of the new calendars.
As for the whole resolutions thing - I've never really done that whole routine. I always keep the intention of doing things better, bigger, brighter when I have the opportunity. I AM however looking forward to a more productive year, both career-wise and financially. Time to start executing some of those projects I've put off due to this that and the other. (And Ashe doing the floor has lit a fire under my ass to do the rest of the bathroom surfaces)
So, I love you all, I need you all and I promise to be more social in the months to come.
And while I'm still in "update the new calendar" mode: how does anyone feel about the "4th of July" party on June 30th? That's the Sat before the 4th. I will probably be out of town for the Sat after (my Daddy's birthday). Just trying to get on everyone's calendar early! And that will make it easier to notify the road dept as to when they can repatch the asphalt in front of the house.
