Love is like a rose as everybody knows
when you find that perfect bloom and reach
to pluck the stem will you draw your hand
back when there is pain as your pricked by
a thorn?
Or will you forget the pain and take it in stride
as the price you must pay to have your perfect
bloom by your side?
Love is like a rose as everybody knows in life
there is pain but after is pleasure and isn't that
really the thing we most treasure?
