Truth and Fiction, Secrets and Lies
This is hard.... I never figured out how dependent I am to the truth until today. Keeping secrets from acquaintances? Not a problem! Keeping secrets from the cat? Easy to do! Keeping secrets from friends and/or family? We've got ourselves a problem.
I can't say what the deal is. That's for my prayer journal, in which I keep everything...even my feelings about my parents! But I had to lie to Mom when I thought that I was actually able to tell her the truth; then I figured out the hard way that she DIDN'T know what I was talking about, so I covered for Kirra again. And at the same time I'm wanting to yell at someone because I don't want to lie anymore.
Okay. So honesty means everything. I'll give God credit for that. Even though I'm too honest for my own good, one of these days...I'll be able to keep at least one secret from others.
*starts humming "One Way or Another" by Blondie*
Fun.... Yeah, right!
For now, I'm just gonna have to stand up for my sister tonight when she confronts Mom and Dad. I might not do too well a 100%, but I will at least give 100%!
