I watched a rerun of Gilmore Girls today and in it this guy had lost a bet and was forced to speak in cliches. Afte the episode I was thinking how hard that would be cause I don't know many cliches off the top of my head, and in due course I thought of some cliches I did know. The first one that popped into my head was "a stich in time saves nine" and it suddenly hit me what that cliche meant. I know its stupid...its pretty obvious, but for some reason I've always thought they litterally meant stiching time itself back together. I have no idea why...but thats what I've always thought.
Also, joy of joys I figured out how to work my new dvd burner...and it works great now :)
