Boy do I feel good.
And not just because I'm not sick anymore either.But because I did a semi-good deed.
Semi-good because I admit I benefit from the results as well.But I didn't do it for that reason,honest.
Alright,I'll explain so this makes a little more sense.
My younger sister.She's a dancer,and yet is also the laziest person on the face of the earth.If you talk to her before Five in the afternoon be warned!Unless she's had a very large cup of coffee there's a good chance she will be a complete wench to you.
My mother.Enough said.
My mother has been planning to go on the Mount Washington[a boat] with some of her friends and my younger sister.Today is the day they planned to do it..Today,around nine in the morning,my sister comes down stairs to get ready and she's in a grouchy mood as always.My mother says something to her,she says something back in her usual "early" morning tone and my mother gets angry and tells her to lose the attitude or she'd be staying home.
My sister says fine she'll stay and goes back to bed.My mother takes this as her saying she doesn't want to go with her,and proceeds to get angry.Then sad.Then she starts crying.Then she's angry again.Then back to crying.
Normally when people fight around here I ignore them.But I couldn't today for some reason.SO I went and talked to my sister to find out if she actually wanted to go or not.She said she didn't know.
Now here's where the semi part of a semi-good deed comes in.I wanted her to leave.But if she'd really wanted to stay home I'd have stopped bothering her.But she "didn't know" so I had to do something I never do.
I was cheerful.I was smiling and happy.....even as I am recalling it now it seems like a whole different person.It went something like this.
"Why don't you go?Do you want to go"
Her:I don't know.
"Then go!You didn't say no!So go!Come on,get up and go!Go get ready!Take a shower and go!Go go go go go go go go go go!Why don't you go?"
Her:I don't know.
"Then you should go.You'll have fun if you go.Or maybe you won't.But you won't know unless you go.So go.Come on.Go!You gonna go?"
Her:Maybe.If you get out of my room.
"If I leave you'll fall asleep,and then you won't go!You should go!Come on.Go!"
This went on for awhile,then she rolled over,so I walked over to the other side of the bed and started again.Then I went to sit down,but I accidentally sat on her foot.Eventually I got her laughing,and she agreed to leave.
They left at twelve thirty and won't be back until midnight.
