::sighs:: Lex/Lana. Oh it feels nice to read some L/L. Now there are two words I wouldn't have put together in the same sentence--doughnuts and Lex Luthor. Heh.

And of course, that's a poem by John Donne and it's significant to L/L because Lex has recited Donne to her before (Nocturne). The full quote is: I am too fools, I know, for loving, and for saying so in whining poetry. Quite, appropriate, Sabine! Funny how Lana didn't pick up the hidden meaning to it.

You win the prize for John Donne quotes. "The Triple Foole" is one of my personal favorites. She'd have caught it if she wasn't so sleepy, she says to cleverly cover her plothole.
