You feel its presence, pushing the doorway into your reality.
The jagged, granite hands, tear bruises into your biceps as its voice penetrates you, like shards of glass sliding effortlessly into folds of skin.
"Not my son," you shout. "Never."
Its wings beat in the darkness, unbearably massive; its eyes are incandescent light. With your eyes shut, it burns.
“Not Sam,” It sneers, “Tainted soul, banished already in the depths. We want the other one bound to us.”
“Who are you? Gabriel, the bringer of death?”
“No.”
“Michael, I figured.”
“Meaningless...fictitious...human names. But you may call me, Castiel.”
