I read somewhere that hookah is as bad for you as cigarettes. Do you know anything about that?

Yeah, according to my hookah connoisseur-like friends, smoking hookah in not nearly as bad as cigarettes.

the shisha (hookah tobacco) is not nearly as potent as the tobacco in cigarettes, nor does it have most of the chemicals that cigarettes do.

Smoking a whole bowl of shisha by yourself (which almost no one does, cuz its a lot of tobacco, and hookah is generally a group activity) equals smoking one cigarette (more or less)
