life in a nutshell
- White Russians made with Cappuccino or Chocolate soy milk are for the win. So are couches. Did some work and watched Day of the Dead ('80s Romero zombie goodness) then Sleepy Hollow with Peter and Rachel last night. Balthasazar is adorable when he isn't trying to stick his head into my drink.
- Ironically yesterday at work I spent my time trying to help people find things.... Half the time I know, half I don't. More often than not - the doo-hickey I think we don't have, we do and the whatchamajigger I think we do have, we don't.
- Went out Friday night with Melissa and her friends Peter and Kevin to celebrate her birthday (which is Monday :3). Fish bowls & Cap'n Morgan pales in comparison to Peter and Kevin's antics and ability to talk the waitress into getting us discounted drinks of our choice... and a guy buying us a round to apologize for his drunk fiancee talking to us. I hope you have an awesome day tomorrow, Melissa! It was great catching up with you and sharing grad school / foreign language woes.
- Watched Zodiac with teh boyo and his roommates. The opening murder scenes are intense, but after that, the movie collapses into a suspense / intrigue caper with a very uninteresting Jake Gyllenhal leading a motley crew of California detectives.
- Downloaded the new version of WInamp. Pete showed it to me and I was impressed. WMP is bothersome anyway. *snuggles the llama*
