I'll try and not jinx myself here but... I got an interview!
Finally.
Now I'm going to do a little research (kinda glad I kept that beastly Eye of Duncan Phillips book), practice Q&A with my dad, and figure out where all the pieces of my suit went so I can nail the interview and land the job because damnit, I want it.
Edit x3: Itinerary for tomorrow
11:30ish to 3:00 - driving to Champaign (change of route due to a car tumbling into Spoon RIver), changing / breather
3:20 - Waiting nervously in Jess' office at the A&D building
3:30 to 4:00 - interviewing & asking awesome questions
4:00 to 4:30ish - checkin' out an apartment in Urbana
4:30ish to ??? - kidnapping Conor if at all possible, "informally" finding out if I'm a finalist or not, spending time w. boyo, going to Jess' party (starts at 8 PM), whatever else trips our triggers
Saturday ??? - either staying or driving back to Port Byron. Depends on several factors so I'll be playin' it by ear.
