Originally uploaded by sabiha_basraisean and maggie stopped in oakland to have dinner with me last night. seeing them made me nostalgic for philly. we talked about the first time i saw snow and we had a snow ball fight in rittenhouse square and ran all over center city playing. maggie said the story of sabiha's first snow has been retold a few times. for some reason, this made me insanely happy.
i was so lucky to have a such a great circle of friends when i was new to that city. the two years i spent there were really special. i grew a lot and i learned about myself. it was a good decision for me to move back to california because my career and family are here. but i seriously miss philly and my favorite people there every day.
