Todays Events...
Hmm... SO I have baisically spent the day (while I was at homne anyway) studying for my math placement exam that I have to take at orientation tomorrow. I dont thik I will do very good, but I will give it my best shot.
The weather right now is being kinda sketchy. There was a storm in Colorado Springs today that dropped four inches of rain and enough hail to make it look like it snowed...a lot. There was also a lightning strike in Yellowstone today that injured like 8 people. One had to be given CPR. There were 3 medical professionals vacationing at the time. Amazing. Currently at my house though is dark and very windy. The cloud is red on the radar. Uh Oh, the weather channel is on and they say there could be another Tropical Storm! There hasnt been any precipitation at the house yet, but we are expecting heavy rain and possibly hail, but the cloud seems to have stopped. Hmm, who knows.
So my dad left for Africa today. We went out to lunch before we dropped him off.......... {we just lost the pooper scooper out of the back yard}........and then my mom and I went and bought some used DVDs and the new Reba CD. After that, we went to go drop off my parking permit application. We almost ran over like 3 college kids. They dont look before they walk off the sidewalk. They have right of way but still. This one was carrying a bike tire in each hand.
Did anyone hear about the new Jessica Simpson song; These Boots are Made for Walkin' She did the song with Willy Nelson. I like it, and I definitly like it more than the song by Nelly and Tim McGraw. I liked that song back when it came out, but then the radio over played it. The radios up here also play Will Smith' Switched a lot. But thats ok cause I like it too.
I went out to talk to my mom today while she was trimming the trees and there was a WHITE spider on one of them. A WHITE spider!! So I ran and got the camera and started snapping shots. Does anyone know if there are White spiders or if they are rare? It was little, it looked just like the little black ones, but it was white.
Hmmm...I seem to have run out of things to say. I will go watch the news now.
