You're lucky lucky you're so lucky!

It's hump day on the first week. Happy Wednesday! So guess who isn't working at the dentist's office anymore? Me! Guess who got a job doing web advertising for local businesses? Me! I start next week. They want me to learn all these fancy shmancy computer programs to do like web design and stuff. I get to work with Photoshop (the real deal), Dreamweaver, and other things I can't think of off the top of my head. Yay! I hope I can pick this up and become awesome.

I guess I should talk about school. Yeah. School. I have Writing Strategies on M W F with Prof. Macmillin. She seems like a nice lady. Supposedly she's a really good teacher. On Tuesdays and Thursdays I have the pleasure of waking up at 5 am for school. I leave home at like 6:15, get to FIU at 6:35, take the bus at 6:45 and get to BBC at 7:45 for my 8am class. I had a cough attack on the bus yesterday morning. Everyone was asleep and I sounded like I was coughing up my lungs.
My 8am class is Creative Concepts. The teacher is nice, I mean, she's kinda loopy. According to ratemyprofessor.com, she randomly misses class. I swear, i'd be so pissed off if I got up at 5am to see my class is cancelled.
My next class is Law and Ethics which I can easily say is going to be like scraping a board of nails across my face. The lady talked for a half hour solid about how "10% of the people who take this class don't pass. You are going to hate this class. You have to read the book cover to cover if you want to pass. This material is not fun." I was sitting there thinking to myself about how much more fun I would be having if I was stuck in a tar pit. We get to talk (or rather, hear HER talk) about the first amendment and hypothetical legal problems we might get into. Yay.
Lastly, I have Visual Design for Media. The teacher is nice as soon as I get over how she dresses. She dresses like a badly dressed man. That class is about how to use various programs like Photoshop and Dreamweaver but we don't actually use them in class. We have to do that on our own.

I talked to the guy in charge of the Germany program and he brought me to meet the two German guys that came from Berlin for a meeting with him. Hopefully this is a very positive sign that I will be studying in Berlin this summer!

germany, travel, study abroad, school stuff, boring
