I love shopping. I went to Old Navy to see if I could get a coat @ 40% off, but they all looked like tents on me. I don't understand this trend. Everything on top looks like / \ that and everything on the bottom looks like \ / you can only wear it if you have NO SHAPE WHATSOEVER. So for people like me, who have a lot of... to put it lightly... ass, we look like the circus is in town. The skinny people have one more reason to make us not-size-0's feel bad. Can't anyone make something that isn't "skinny jeans" or "pregnant shirts"? No? Seriously. Cinch things at the waist. Widen those pant legs. Stop making such an enjoyable thing as shopping so miserable.
I did walk away from Old Navy with a really cute hoodie though. I didn't have a plain black hoodie, and now I do, but with buttons on top. So cute. Also, I got this shirt I know Kiki bought for like $17 on clearance for $8. It's a little big even though it's a medium. Kiki, it's the one that has the detailing in the front that's kind of peasant-y lace-y looking-ish... yaknow? I also bought a pair of green suede flats. I wanted the black ones but all the people with normal sized feet bought them all. There's only shoes for giants with size 10 and 11 feet left. I then went to Target to check the status of my Alice Temperley dress (M.I.A. btw. They need to re-stock, and quick) and left with these boot-like heels. I'm not a big fan of those ankle boots that are so popular now, but these heels looked so cute on me!
All in all I would say it was a pretty ok day, although my card has $60 less on it and with these crazy gas prices, I need all the cash I can get. Tomorrow my boss doesn't want me to work more hours but I plan on staying until he kicks me out. I neeeed to work. I also need a raise. I work my ass off (let me check... nope, ass is still there) for the money and I definitely don't waste it. I need to re-start the sad broke teenager fund... only rename it because i'm 20 and no longer a teenager.
