I had an early shift today.
Well, I always have early shifts...6am..
but today, I volunteered to go in at 4 am
see, it was a 'truck' day...meaning we got a shipment of toys
..FYI/BTW..for anyone that doesn't know, I work at Toys R Us

I was kinda replacing one of the guys that up and quit on us..
he gave his 2-day-notice (where's the freaking week, asshole?) ann then didn't work his last 2 shifts
after telling the manager that he would..
*kicks him*
the retard got another job....he'll be unloading shipments at a grocery store...part of his job with us...
I doubt they'll put up with his shit
unlike we did
the toy store can't fire someone unless they majorly -F- up..like steal from the company
they can only 'get rid' of people after xmas...seasonal...*rolls eyes*
we've had to deal with a lot of idiots cuz they were hired before what's considered seasonal
it's screwed up, really
Anyway...
I'm sitting on the PC in the basement
trying to write..emphasis on trying
...I've got some notes....but nothing really 'fleshed' out
*snicker*
when I hear my mom call me...

wanting to know if I'd switch my day off from tomorrow to Saturday
Meaning I get the weekend off

oh, and I'd only be working 4 hours either way
so I'll be home a little after 10 am..
...and not have to be back to work until Monday at 6am
so I said yeh
BUT..
my cousin'd b-day party is Saturday night
there will be food.....and booze
he's well over 21
and so is everybody else that'll be there
yeah, I'm going
but I dunno how long I'll stay
depends on how much fun I have
and how much I feel like drinking
I don't drink much...never have
long, boring story concerning my father and a couple of his brothers...and addictions...
the gist of this post is that I WANTED to get something posted, story-wise tonight or tomorrow
but it looks like it won't be happening
oh, and I saw one of my 'friends' while I was at the store...he works there, in the Chinese food part
it was Easter Sunday, after leaving my sis' house...
he said 'HI'...we talked for about 2 minutes while we both checked out...and that was it
nothing else since...
*sighs*
I really think all of my 'friends' have abandoned me
