I love this show.  I also DVR it which means I can skip through commercials.  That makes me insanely happy.  But my guilty pleasure is I watch the opening sequence Every. Single. Time.  *thumps out musical notes...ba ba ba ba bahh bahhh...*

I LOVE Hawaii Five-O. Never miss it. I love the chemistry between Alex O'Loughlin and Scott Caan (my favorite). Last night's epi rocked!

I did not get a chance to watch last night's ep, in fact, I'm still working on the week before. I will catch up though.

I love the video of the U of M marching band. The only part is, the sound is a little tinny. I want it BLARING! With the trumpets screaming.

I've been trying to watch Hawaii Five-O because I keep hearing good things but can't find eps online. :( Does it have any buddy vibe going for it? I never watched the original.

Have you checked CBS's website? That's the network it airs on, and there was a period of time wherein we had to watch The Unit that way.

Yes, there is a buddy dynamic going, but it's a very macho buddy dynamic. Like, I won't cut you any slack to your face, but if your ex-wife is trying to take your daughter from you, I'll call in a favor from the governor.

Last night's ep was very good for the unspoken buddy dynamic, actually. You should definitely try to check it out.

Oh yes. There is the buddy vibe. Two great main characters and some wonderful secondaries too.

Visually beautiful. (both the men, and the scenery) plus a rockin' good theme song.
