LJ, FB and Twitter.

I doubt that anyone I know would intentionally post anything from my LJ to FB, but I am beyond anxious about this latest development.  It doesn't matter whether it is flocked or not, or gen or het or whatever.  Anything I write on LJ, comments, fic or personal rants are meant to stay in LJ. I don't want anything cross posted anywhere. At all.  I

Do you mean you did not read the wonderous update that LJ has given us or you don't know why they were so stupid to do it? (this is in no way a mean comment to you, it is all about LJ and why I feel like storming their offices)

I skimmed it, but I never post anything on LJ but comments, so I figured it didn't affect me. Hmm.

It does affect you. Your comments...even comments to a flocked story can get cross posted. I don't know all of it but what if you just happened to write a comment regarding a m/m pairing - or maybe a personal rant about Aunt Matilda. Your comments can be linked to an FB and then back to LJ. Maybe the person who wrote the m/m pairing would not want it even known she writes erotica. Or whatever. It doesn't matter, many people do not want their LJ persona to be ever linked with RL FB.

I hope so hon. I have a killer headache now and it is just because of this.

I sure there are over 5000 comments screaming bloody murder at LJ...I think they are trying to come up with a fix. I sure hope so.
