To Kill A Mockingbird

I accomplished one of the goals I set for myself this summer.  I have always wanted to read "To Kill a Mockingbird".  The sad part is the book has been sitting on my bookshelf for years and I never bothered to pull it out.  Both of my oldest kids had to read it in seventh grade, you would think that would tell you how long it has been here.

I really liked The Help by Kathryn Stockett.

And I'm totally with you on the Kindle thing. I need to actually hold my books. :)

Thanks for the suggestion. I can't wait to give it a shot. The Kindle? It sounds awesome, it really does, but I love turning pages and the actual feel of a book. Glad it is not only me.

I listening to that right now. It's awesomesauce on toast!! I'm almost half way thru. I love the 3 main character POVs.

Like others. I also enjoyed The Road.

I'm looking for something to take to the beach next week. This was a very timely post. I was planning on taking something by Stephen King. You know. Light summer reading... under the covers.

Last beach vacation, I read the entire Drive Verse. Good stuff!
