weekend

Yesterday was the birthday of one of my favorite people in the world, my cousin Alfonso! He's 11 now, and still talks alot about Pokemon when we see each other. My family (minus Dion) and I went over to their house to drop off a basket of mangoes. We rang their doorbell, and when my uncle opened the gate, Alfonso was so surprised to see us. I loved the expression on his face. Ah, I love that kid.

We spent a few minutes at their place, catching up and watching the boys show off their new toys. I love spending time at their house because they have these neat stuff that I can play with. Add to that they now have a Playstation 2, we can spend more time bonding. Wahaha. The big kids (my siblings and myself) and the little kids (my cousins).

I went to my Tita's house a little after six, then spent the rest of the night with my other cousins.

Listening to some songs by Bamboo. I like the beat of Bamboo's music, even if at times I don't like their lyrics. This album (which I got from my cousin, hi Miel!), entitled "We Stand Alone Together" is mainly covers of older songs, a mix of OPM and Western songs. The first track was "Probinsyana", but since I wasn't familiar with it, I didn't really think about it. When I heard, "Feeling Alright," I thought, "Hey wait, I know this song!" Then when it came to the chorus of the third song, "Hey wait, this is Pearl Jam's Alive!"

Hit Google, et voila! Information about the said album can be found here. I like "50 Ways to Leave Your Lover". Ok, on to round two of listening.
