Watched American Idol last night. Finally, Kevin Covais is out! I have nothing against him personally. I think he's cute, and he reminds me of one of my favorite cousins. But I don't think he's got the voice for an American Idol. Melissa McGee, to me, was better. If she hadn't flubbed the lyrics maybe she would still be in the competition.
I predict that Bucky Covington might go next, unless Simon says "Bucky, that was fantastic!" Simon's comments are quite accurate, as oppossed to Paula Abdul's that are all about "You look great, you look fabulous, I love you," (And it's tiring too. It's quite easy to predict what she's gonna say next). Simon's right. It's a signing competition for goodness sake, and even though charisma and dancing ablities are a plus, it'll all be about the voice in the end.
