for my b-day i got strawberry margaritas (four) and four books! Menolly books (yes, even #3 although is sub-par). and book one of Fall of ile rien by martha wells. My fav parts are when they throw rocks, which is quite often. I have books 2 and 3 already and when I read them I think, man, they don't throw rocks anymore! Granted it is hard to win a war with rocks, but Mike did it in moon is a harsh mistress. (thanks laquisha.) I wonder if there are any other good rock throwing books...
Currently I'm reading Sunshine by robin mckinley. Good, but not her usual, which is also good.
The cubs lost yesterday even though I told ramirez repeatedly it was my birthday. But tonight they'll make it up to me. See, Lee just hit a HR. :) Lee has de-slumped.
I'm still working on my Cubs Drinking Team shirt. Will post soon. As long as I cover up the TM with a beer, I'm not infringing or anything right?
