2010 NHL Playoffs - Conference Semi Finals part I
Wow oh wow. I never thought there would be this many upsets ever since there was so much parity in today's NHL. After watching Les Habitants de la Montreal beat the Capitals of Washington DC, anything can happen really.
On a side note. The Big Red Machine of the NHL is back. I figured Phoenix could have beaten the Wings, but the battle hardened Wings are exactly why you should never write them off. Ever.
Let's recap my picks and the results
Caps vs Habs: I took the Caps in 4. Habs win 4-3
Devils vs Flyers: Flyers in 7. Flyers win 4-1
Sabres vs Bruins: Sabres to win in 5. Bruins win 4-2
Pens vs Sens: Pens to win in 5: Pens actually win 4-2
Sharks vs Avs: Sharks in 7: Sharks win 4-2
Hawks vs Preds: Hawks in 6: Hawks do win 4-2. The only series which I predicted exactly.
'Nucks vs Kings: 'Nucks in 7: Vancouver takes it down 4-2
'Yotes vs Wings: Phoenix was to win in 7 in what I thought was too close to call. Wings take it in 7
This leaves me 5 and 3 for the playoffs so far. Not too shabby.
