I just realised something today.
araphen! We never did join a game as Claire and Leon. :|a
In the mean time I had the most amazing day today. I went across the street to find out that Less Than Jake was playing. Unfortunately the crowd was a bit upsetting so I ended up leaving. I found out that there was a Gamestop not too far away and I decided to make a trip over there.
I made some awesome friends today just by walking in and actually asking about the cut-off date for Halo Reach. It turned into me hanging out at Gamestop until they closed, help them close, and then walked Alison to her car and stood around there for a bit just talking. She drove me back to the condo, and she, her friend Cat, and I met up later to hang out!
I love it. I actually have plans to go out on Tuesday if I don't start a job immediately. I'm totally excited!
Later, I'm going over to Starbucks to talk to the manager in order to obtain said job. If I'm still up in an hour I am going to stay away and walk up the street around seven and see if I can catch him. Fingers crossed because I can't miss this. I'm pretty much wide awake anyway.
I am also submitting an application to Gamestop! I am keeping my fingers crossed there too just for the part time hours plus holiday pay and Starbucks for full time hours. Who knows, but something will go right.
