For everyone who isn't following me on twitter or plurk, I am safe and sound at my grandmother's condo in Florida. It was an amazing journey, filled with memories I will no sooner forget, and frankly I am glad to be safe in one piece. After the beginning of the trip involved me miscalculating the distance between me, the truck I was attempting to pass, and an incoming car which caused me to run myself into a ditch cause I am brilliant? I figured nothing could get worse.
It was hard. A lot of things went wrong, or just happened to screw us in some ways, but work so well in others. I fell in love with Cincinnati, and it's so hard to sleep in my bed alone at night now. To be honest I could live in Cincinnati in a heart beat, but I am looking forward to my new start in Florida. Even if I don't go to school right away (it is rather expensive, after all) I feel like I can really enjoy myself here.
Meeting everyone in Cincinnati was brilliant, and I plan on going back to Dallas sometime in the future. I feel like all that negative energy I was feeling when I entered the city is gone, and things are only going to go up from here. I was feeling so down when we hit El Paso, and I feel awful now, thinking about it, for how irritated and upset I was when we reached Dallas, but it worked out in the end.
I am going to find a job here in the next few weeks, and keep my fingers crossed. I look forward to tomorrow seeing as my mother and brothers will be arriving and so will my cat. I miss her so much and I wasn't sure what I was going to do if I couldn't bring her home with me. I hear she's going crazy without me there, so I hope that she'll be okay with her new home.
I can't believe how tired I am. I still haven't gotten used to the time change, and we arrived into St. Petersburg at around six in the morning. Today consisted of grocery shopping, and meeting up with Megan and Jeremy. Tomorrow I'll be preparing to get all of the stuff for my cat, and just general relaxing.
Oh! And at 9:30 we're heading down to Crowley's (an Irish pub up the street) for live music! How exciting is that? I knew I loved St. Pete for a reason.
Now to just catch up on my flist before I head off to bed.
