Wow, talk about a major difference...I had so much energy after work, I went and got a haircut. I have a feeling I never really got rid of the cold I had back around Christmas...and that it lingered and changed into the sinus infection I now have. I'd been feeling so burnt out and tired after work lately, that my ambition was to come home and sit down...and do nothing. So, now that the antibiotics are doing their thing, I feel more human. Well, no, that isn't true, I doubt I'd ever feel TOTALLY human (given my totally evil nature and desire to cause chaos within the universe--well, and the fact that Cthulhu is my best friend. Even though he tends to eat a lot. "You eat too much! You go now! Buffet closed!")

Anyway, the haircut has another mission...to get me a job. I've decided to use my vast powers to manipulate the universe in my favor (and it's about damn time something went my way). I figure the haircut will force someone to call me for an interview, now that I'm all spiffed up.

Still reading The Infinity Concerto. Somewhat undecided as to my feelings for the book. One character sacrificed herself for the main character...out of "love." She used magic to try and send him back to Earth, but failed and was killed by the spell (she wasn't powerful enough to handle it in the first place but because she loved him, she went ahead with it--knowing the consequences). I dunno about this. She seemed to be a bit more rational than this. The main character certainly didn't love her in return. I was hoping she'd help him in some other way, instead of just sacrificing herself in a failed attempt to get him home. Anyway, there's also lots of interesting scenery in the story and one place reminds me of something I wrote about ages ago--what I wrote was probably influenced by this book.

And a big *HUG* goes out to Jeremy...just because.
