i. Nowadays, conversations between friends have taken a new twist and it's so funny when you actually take a closer look at the exchange of words that transpire between mates. Yesterday, I was talking to one of my gay friends on my mobile and we came across the topic of my period. Well, I was talking about how depressed I am the whole week and how I've been trying to pinpoint a specific reason as to what is causing these terrible mood swings. And that's when I said that it's probably just my period. And then my friend exclaimed, "OH! SO YOU GOT YOUR PERIOD NOW?" To which I replied, "YES, GOT IT LAST SUNDAY!" And then he said, "CONGRATULATIONS!"
I really thought that was so funny considering how people are supposed to congratulate their friends when they find out that they're pregnant. Nowadays, friends share your joy every time you get your period. Hahaha. WOO HOO!!
ii. So, we're done with the good news. I'm wondering if the reason why I'm depressed is because U2's show in Australia has been postponed til around November. I was horrified at first because I've been psyching myself to watch it at the end of this month. But due to family problems, the band has to postpone their Australia Tour. Gah! I went to EBAY to purchase that ticket. Imagine, if they asked us to refund our tickets. I'd be doomed. First, I paid more than the ticket price. And too, I wasn't even the one to purchase the ticket so they might not give me my money back. Thank God TICKETEK asked us to hold on to our tickets. Well, at least, I still got Coldplay to attend. And I almost sold my concert ticket on EBAY. Desperate for money... Argh!
