Just an update, of sorts...
Thought I'd post a bit to my journal while I wait for a video to render. :) Speaking of which, I am pretty much finished with 1:43 of the Farscape video I'm working on for _happyme_, and I'm pretty happy with it, so far. Only about 2:10 to go. Hee.
I've also written 750 or so words for repr0b8's fic (both the Farscape vid and the fic are the results of the Sweet Charity auction), so that's coming along well. Especially considering I only sat down to write a snippet of an idea and some dialogue. :D
The birthday was pretty low-key and included food with friends, vidding, and lots of yardwork and gardening, since it was sunny and in the mid-70s.
The most fun of all was playing with the new iPod nano from my sister. I've named it Harvey, 'cause it's all in my head and kind of a comfort and a bad influence on me, all at the same time. :P 2 gigs of memory and way cool. I don't have him anywhere near loaded yet, so if anyone wants to fire some songs at me, I wouldn't object. ;)
Well, my render is finished already, so I'm back to working on the next part of the vid.
