That was absolutly reviting, amazing and chilling at the same time. The only thing I can say other than that is WOW.

On a technical note it provides a fantastic back story and insight into what our favorate characters/people are thinking and feeling in what is the most difficult series or scenes for any Sharon/Helo fans.

I hope that after all these trails and sufering that Sharon and Helo get the happiness they deserve. I have to hope!!!

Thanks Sbabe

Glad you liked it, Bob. It was just something that I had to get out of my system.

I agree , up to now that was probably the hardest few minutes for any Sharon/Helo fan to deal with, and I guess writing about it helps deal with the angst/feelings it provoked for lack of a better word.

I think we are in for more angst with Sharon and Helo's daughter in the next three episodes.

I think so, too, and really, I'm looking forward to it even though we won't see any Helo in Sacrifice.

Sniffle. Very well done, damn you. Now would you please write a fic where there are puppies and showtunes and no angst? Very good fic, but kinda depressing. I mean, yeah, it had a happy ending, but overall a very melancholy mood to the piece. Which isn't a bad thing. I'm just bitching because I want a shiny happy world for you to write about. I'll be over in the corner eating chocolate now.

You wouldn't wanna, you know, share some of that chocolate, would you? *makes puppy-dog eyes*

Sometimes writing fic is a kind of catharsis. This was one of those times.

There is so much emotion in this piece. So much trauma; so much angst. Yet, beneath it all there is love, a love that guarantees that no matter what our beloved couple endure, they will persevere. They will get through. There will always be a tomorrow for them.

I liked the inclusion of Corporal Venner and Medic Ishay because despite what other characters might think and feel, it would be unnatural if these two people hadn't been able to see the reality of Sharon beyond the source of her DNA. This is also a perfect example of the cage Helo lives in as well. He's free to walk around but he's not free as long as she's imprisoned. His entire life is colored by what's happening to her. It's absolutely not possible for him to accept being accepted and/or tolerated while she's considered nothing.

Deep. Extremely deep.

Thank you, Honi.

I know this piece is dark and depressing, but where there's life, there's hope.

In some ways Helo's cage is worse then Sharon's, he must feel helpless, even when he looks happy, inside, he must be hurting all the time. Helo knows that everything Sharon has done and has endured she has done to be with him.

Wow, I really liked this. I loved the way you gave us glimpses of what was going on in side Sharon's head. =)

Thank you. :)

It started out just being from Sharon's POV (well, except for the parts that were from Venner's POV), but then I realized that it really was a parallel story for both Sharon *and* Helo, so...
