more BSG Big Bang artwork
Lo, these many moons ago, lizardbeth_j sent me part of a crackfic she was writing. It had no title and it was never supposed to have a plot, just lots of sexy Sam with wings, but we’re talking Lizardbeth, here, so even then the fic was at about 30k words. :P And then bsg_bigbang started taking sign ups and she decided it would be the perfect way to get herself to finish the fic. Turns out she was right. She sent me the second half of the beast to beta, since I’d already done the first, and when I saw that no one in the artist signups had snapped it up yet, I pounced. After all, I already knew the story (and it’s a wonderful tale, full of romance and tragedy and wings).
The image with bloody wings I used in the cover is mostly by Mehmet Turgut (who does some truly amazing stuff). Gimp 2.0 and Google were my tools of choice for the cover and "Moonlit Sam." Ballpoint pen and number 2 pencil my tools for the sketches. (Liz, I’ll be sending you the original sketches very soon.)
