I don't know anything about the show... but this was really sweet and the teasing made it perfect! :-)

You are too funny. *squish* And you should check it out. It's a great show, a blend of comedy and tragedy. Well, and ghosts and vampires and werewolves...

Aww, such a lovely story! I love the easy friendship between the two, even in the early days, and I love Mitchell's recollection of the event in his childhood, he feels very in-character - as does Annie and her previous fear of going to sleep.

And thanks for taking part in the ficathon!

*claps a little too loudly*

LOVED this! Mitchell & Annie and snarky teasing and bed-time stories...Adorably perfect:) I love how much physical closeness you give them here. I think that fits with what we saw in the first series and makes sense given how close they are emotionally.

Also...I NEED this show back...NOW!!!

Thank you! :D And I KNOW! If the TV PTB would just set up a schedule where Being Human, True Blood, and the Vampire Diaries rotated out, I'd be all set.

Do you have any idea how PERFECT that rotating schedule would be?!?! I LOVE all of those shows and having one start up just as another finishes...I'd never be without non-sparkly vampires again :)

Even more of a delight than in draft! I love the detail of naming the puppy. Always been important to him that pets have names, it seems. :-)

Thanks for entrusting me with helping to birth such a lovely thing.

I just had all these IDEAS for stories he could tell her and they were all jumbled together in my head, but then I was watching my dog playing in the backyard and that particular idea popped into place. I'm glad it worked for you. And thank you AGAIN for the beta. *hug* :D

I don't even watch this show but I loved this little fic! Mitchell's story is a vibrant thing, I could see the little dark haired boy and the dog on the beach! I loved the comparison of Annie to the tea and the way she gets more substantial around Mitchell and George. It's got a very quiet middle of the night atmosphere and I like that best of all as that's very hard to capture! Well done! :)

Oh, thank you, that's exactly what I was hoping for when I wrote it. And you should definitely check out the show; it's just so good and the friendship between the three primaries feels so real (even if they are a ghost, a vampire, and a werewolf).

It's on my list *nodnods* I've only heard good things about it. :)
