Wow. It was taking me forever to get through my flist this morning, so I finally filtered it to just people, no comms. Without spock_uhura in the mix, it took me like 10 minutes. O_o

I think I may have to stop watching that comm until it slows down a bit. :P

I'm thinking I may need to just be checking the newsletter for a while--I got overwhelmed. I have also reached that point where all the stories are starting to sound alike and I can't differentiate. So I need to find a recs com or list. It feels way too earily in the fandom (dude, a fortnight IS way too earily) for fandom clichés to take over. But I've already started a list in my head of things to avoid, going forward. The universe needs more Mission-fic. *hatches plots*

Also, the universe needs more PIKE AND NUMBER ONE OMG.

Dude, I always have to filter it to just people first, then comms, then syndicated feeds. Otherwise it would take me *hours* to get through.

Me too...lol...takes me (at least) about half an hour each day if I want to see everything....and then hours if there are too many interesting posts.
Fanmix comm only is having 20 posts each day!

If I were to actually *read* all the posts on the syndicated feeds I watch I would never leave my computer. ;P I skim and even then it is time consuming. That is why I read the people posts first; if I have to skim everything else I don't feel guilty!

It's so nice to hear that I'm not the only crazy one! It takes longer and longer to get through the flist every day, and then I have to keep up with DW, and I keep adding comms like ontd_startrek, and...Boom! There goes the day.
