vidding woes
So over the weekend there were a couple of videos posted here on LJ. One was a BSG vid to Imogen Heap's Sweet Religion and the other a Supernatural vid to Brad Caleb Kane's Once. Both are songs I have in the planning stages for those respective fandoms, both to be made for other people (Sweet Charity - the BSG vid is a pinch hit and the SPN vid is for a direct bidder). Both are projects that I have a fairly clear vision for, but I was clearing up some other pending projects before starting on them.
Do I go ahead and do them? (I haven't watched either of the vids posted, so I have no idea how close they may be to what I've been "storyboarding.") One of recipients has already contacted me to let me know of the vid being posted and to say that she's okay with it if I still want to do it, but I don't know how the other vidder may feel. Do I contact everyone involved (recipients and other vidders) to see if it's okay to continue? Or to see if the vids that have been posted fit the recipients needs and see what other vids they'd like to me to make?
