Oh, this was good! I love this. It breaks my heart, but it's so so so perfect.

Fantastic job. I love Derek's determination, interspersed with moments of despair - geography tests, showers, bananas - it's so perfectly in character.

Dude. I really have no idea where this came from. I was thinking about opening up one of my in-progress BSG fics, but instead I opened up a blank doc and just started typing.

I'm so glad it came out halfway decent. :P That bit in the last ep, where Derek is telling John about the hunting incident, when John told him essentially that it was okay, because he'd just been a kid, too, really pushed a button, you know?
