Heh. I think that actually comes from a running joke with the Polls of Whimsy(TM) over at the_other_reese. I couldn't resist. :P

I kept running through different things for the password, but that was the only one that felt right and seemed like it would be the right timeframe. Time travel messes with your head, you know... (Glad you like.)

I could totally see Derek enjoying drawing that out of Sayles, here. He can be a real jerk when he wants to be.

The dialogue and setting are great for this -- you get a feeling how fresh they still are to being back before Judgment Day but you also see how much their experience after that has made them, especially Derek, what they are.

And thanks for incorporating all my prompts. *happy sigh*

Derek didn’t answer, and after it became apparent that he wasn’t going to, nor was he going to open the door, he heard what sounded like Sayles banging his head on the door. Derek grinned.
