It makes me oddly happy that MDJ chose one that I made. :D I just loved this image and I have a few jpegs that I use as overlays sometimes because I like the colors or the shapes, etc. And Derek Reese is a badass. I wasn't even planning on using this one for myself when I posted them a couple of weeks or so ago, but whenever I saw it in a post or on my computer, I'd just stop and stare at it. Weird, huh? ;)
This one was made by symbioses and is one of the first ones I found that "spoke to me" when I got sucked into the Sarah Connor Chronicles. I love the simplicity of it and the lines, Sarah folded around the gun, between her son and destiny, yet he has his back to her, maybe facing that destiny and protecting her from it.
This one was made by crazyace86. Burn Notice is the fandom. Fiona has this great look on her face as she lights up her Malatovs and I'm a sucker for black and white with just a splash of color for emphasis. (Hee! Fi is just so delightfully vicious, sometimes. :P)
pixelatedjunkie made this lovely Jayne icon. (Yay, Firefly!) I love Jayne. I miss Jayne. Jayne should be brought back to television on just about any of the shows I watch. Yes.
And last, but never least, my gorgeous and complex stressed out icon was made by shadowserenity. Again, I love the lines and shapes and black and white versus color in this. I also love the clarity, the sharpness of the image used -- I'm a sucker for a nice, clean image. I can't stand blurry.
