Here via farscapefic :) My one real new years resolution is to comment on every fic I read or vid I watch (especially in the Farscape fandom, because without people like you who still write and create, Farscape really would be gone). So thank you for this little one. Personally with a busy life I'm a huge fan of small fics, and those are the ones I tend to read without recs, unless I recognise the handle, like yours. I love the little insights, the scenes between the action, the quiet times. For a moment I was worried this was going AU and we were waving John goodbye, but at the last minute, a rescue. Very Farscape. Thank you :)

Thank you for reading and taking the time to comment. I'm right there with you on that small fic thing -- I like it when an author puts a word count on their fic so that I know if I can just read it now or have to save it for when I have more time. *cries at the thought of her reading list*

I have a tendency to write canon way more frequently than AU, although my longest fic to date is actually a Farscape AU.

Exactly, sometimes people put the file size up, but I'm afraid that doesn't mean much to me, a word count I can always understand ;) I have to admit, my time is so limited that I rarely read really long fics these days, unless they've been specifically recommended. Luckily short fics generally lend themselves to my favourite type of fic - little fillers or episode additions, the sort of thing I have written in the past, insights into characters, those scenes we would have seen on the screen had there been just a little more time.

PS: I see from your banner and your tags you're into bsg. I'm just at the start of season three myself and struggling slightly with the darkness. Do you have any recommendations, your fic or others, set in S1/2 that might lighten things a little? :) I'd take a look myself but I don't want to get accidentally spoiled ;)
