aw, poor puppy...!
I just got back from dropping my husband off for his weekend with the National Guard -- he'll be away all weekend. Try explaining that to a little dog who just wants her "daddy." :P
Spots keeps running to the door and looking back at me like, "Open the door for him, m'kay? If the door isn't open, he might not be able to come in." And then she sits down and looks at me again and her ears droop and then she starts to cry. :( *sniffle*
She's in here with me right now, quiet, curled up in the dog bed, but she's watching the doorway, just in case I'm wrong and he comes walking in.
Dogs are eternal optimists, you know.
