Need to wait for the lump in my throat to go down and my eyes to dry out before I can say anything coherent. Seriously in tears...I love you for this vid...
The themes and metaphors were executed brilliantly, the tempo and energy were perfectly paced, and the use of overlays and and fades made everything flow together seemlessly.
But none of that matters, because it moved me more than any other vid ever has. Best Helo/Sharon vid ever. Period.
Wow! That was gorgeous! I love that song and you did an amazing job. That's a pretty sweet editor, too, though I think you might have gone a little overboard on the overlays. Some of them had a bit too much motion and different clips in the overlay for my taste. But I adored how you fit the clips to the song.
Funny thing is that I honestly wanted to cut down the number of clips in the overlays and make the clips that remained run just a little longer, but when I went in to do that last night, I had managed to bugger the files somewhere along the line in the main vid so that I couldn't make the changes without having to re-do a large chunk of the main video and I just couldn't bear the thought of that.
Okay, I used to hate that song (blame Grey's Anatomy). But in this vid, I fell in love with it. Sharon and Helo are my new inspiration couple, if only through the way you portray them here.
Not reading that interview! No. I just don't need the angst. ;)
I'm glad you like this, hon. I'm really happy with the new editor, which really is just a major upgrad of the old one I was using, so I didn't have relearn things, just learn how to use the new toys.

I have to admit that I had you and Bob in mind when I made this...

That song was Helo/Sharon to me from the very first time I heard it.

Whatever your new editor did the images seem vivid and crisp and I like the overlay of scenes.
