So the last month or so has been quite an experience. I grew closer to some people, learned some things about others that have made me appreciate them more than ever, and I have seen how far my friends will go to show that they care about me. It's quite humbling to think that so many people care and I appreciate all of your love and effort that was put into making my birthday party so special. So thank you to all who made it such a wonderful night and especially to Allyson, Peggy, Faisal and Aden for all their effort. Every single one of you are just so incredibly dear to me and I am so happy that I got to spend time with you in such a great way.

Yesterday I got to see Komal and Aden and watch Dil To Pagal Hai and about an hour of Baazigar, which I quite liked and it was great to see Madhuri in DTPH again. I've been spending time with lots of people I love, though it never feels like enough. It's made me realize that the people I truly care about I'll find a way to keep in touch with and those that are just there for the ride will fall to the wayside, I suppose.

For those interested, behind the cut are some gorgeous salwar kameez I have been considering, that, so generously, Peggy and a few others might buy for me as a birthday gift. And the fact that they would do so is just out of this world!!

This one is probably my first choice, just because it's quite elegant, but not too much so, so that it can be worn almost as an everyday thing, not that I'd do that. :P

This one is something straight out of a BW movie, just beautiful, but way too expensive and I probably could never pull it off. And then there's the fact that I would probably never get a chance to wear it because it's one of those that's extra fancy and more suitable for India, but it's nice to dream.

This one is similar but just as nice, except I wish the yellow wasn't yellow, but other than that, it's beautiful.

What I ideally would love is one of those gorgeous salwar kameezes that Preity Zinta wore in Veer-Zaara or that Kajol wore in the beginning of K3G, but those are quite hard to find and replicate and the ones I found are way too expensive and nowhere near as nice as the real thing, so I've found something else, but these are still beautiful in there own ways. Anyone out there knowledgeable about styles and such, I'd love to hear from you.
