RL stuff and my SGA fandom pet peeve.
First of all, I totally missed my fourth LJ-anniversary. FOUR YEARS! So yay for that!
Second, my roomate and I had the most pointless night yesterday. Basically she had a car for a couple of days, 'cause her mom came to visit from Boston and rented a car. So last night we decided to go clubbing. Except we left a little too late and by the time we got to downtown Toronto and found the clubs, it was 1:15AM, so it just wasn't worth it. And then we drove home. Haha. We spent about two hours in the car just so we could go home with some McDonalds. We decided we'll ACTUALLY go into a club on Wednesday when school lets out.
Now to the actual point of this entry. I've read many fics where for some reason Rodney decided to play the piano after decades of no practice and it just annoys me how he can just play whatever song he decide to play perfectly. Rodney being able to still remember the songs after 20-odd years of not playing I can let slide, because he is a genius and I wouldn't be surprised if he has eidetic memory.
BUT I just can't let playing the song perfectly slide, 'cause it's just not possible! And I may not be a music major, but I did play the piano for 13 years of my life, so I know this. My fingers gets stiff after not playing piano for a few days, so I just can't believe Rodney can play a piece without any mistakes.
